Celebrating TEN years!

Kris and Frances Courson, serving the Deaf:
Ten years ago today, we arrived in Moscow, Russia.
These past 10 years have been a blessing! When we arrived, the Deaf told us they couldn't have churches for the Deaf. Hearing people had told them they couldn't and even some people told them, "God doesn't call invalids as pastors, deacons..."
We were able to begin to tear down that false teaching and we have personally been involved with or had direct influence in starting at least five Deaf churches and two groups that are on their way to becoming churches. In these churches, there are Deaf pastors, deacons, and leaders.
For the past seven years, we have been translating the Scriptures into Russian Sign Language (RSL) in video format so that Deaf have access to the Word of God in their heart language. These Scriptures have been distributed to more than 4,500 Deaf across Russia and also into at least six other countries that use RSL.
We have been able to teach and preach in churches and Deaf conferences in six countries. And we have only barely begun to scratch the surface. It has been a privilege and blessing to be a part of such an incredible journey.
For those of you who have supported us in various ways, THANK YOU!!!
You have been a part of the journey, together with us, and the lives of MANY, MANY Deaf have been changed. Without you, we could not do what we do. We pray that the next 10 years will see even greater things done and that countless numbers of Deaf and their families will come to know the Lord.
